New grads ventured out to Parc national d’Oka this year to hike around Calvaire d’Oka, check out Oka village, and stop for cheese at Magasin de l’abbaye d’Oka. Thanks to Debarati Das, Anna Hayden, and Sarah Bodeving for coordinating the trip!
Grad students went for a weekend camping trip to Parc national du Fjord-du-Saguenay and hiked up to the Statue de Notre-Dame-du-Saguenay for beautiful views of the fjord (alas, no whales were spotted). To celebrate the arrival of fall, graduate students visited Rougemont to learn about the history of the Monteregian Hills and partake in cultural activities at Potager Mont-Rouge Halte Gourmande and Ciderie Michel Jodoin.
