Grad Trip 2021!

Julia Morales and Moses Angombe excelled in organizing the 2021 grad trip. We camped two nights at l’Ilê d ‘Orleans, hiked in Jacques-Cartier National Park and visited the Montmorency Falls. All of these activities took place at the best time for foliage sightseeing.

We tested local products (wine, jams, cheeses, pastries, etc.) and we had a lovely dinner in Quebec City. It was a great opportunity to strengthen bonds between returning grads, as well as an invaluable opportunity to become friends with the new grads. We shared and celebrated our diverse cultures dancing and singing music from all around the globe.

Many thanks to the organizers for making the traditional grad trip happen.

Looking forward for next year’s grad trip… Where should we go?

Mt Royal Geology Walk

Fall 2021 started with a geology walk up Mont Royal in the heart of Montreal. This walk was organized by our great Prof. Christie Rowe. During the walk, grad students learned about the city, its geology and even got some time to get to know each other. After the walk, the Adams Club welcomed everybody with delicious pizza.

Summer 2021 in MTL !

The social reps organized a self-guided tour to the most iconic places in Montreal. This event brought together old friends after a year-long lockdown. Most importantly, this event welcomed new grads to the city before the beginning of classes.
